From Place To Space: Boston

Every Monday I try to escape digitally and take you with me. For the sake of inspiration, for the sake of happiness, for the sake of avoiding the Monday blues. So today again I am setting the sails for a new 'From Place To Space' adventure. Today's destination: fabulously delightful Boston.

If I revisit Boston in my mind, I think of beautiful architecture and lots of brickwork, I think of the world's best cheesecake, a fabulous skyline, the Boston Public Library, an amazing room in the Boston Sheraton. I was amazed by the city's almost European lifestyle with many street side cafés, parks, a relaxed attitude and lots of history. I loved strolling down and shopping on Newbury Street and enjoying a huge piece of cheesecake at the famous Cheesecake Factory on Huntington Avenue. Moreover, the fabulous coast is nearby and Cape Cod is just a stone's throw away. If you like a little reminder of Cape Cod click here, I blogged about it earlier.

Feeling refreshed? Then you're all set and ready for a new Monday and a new week. I guess so am I. Happy Monday!

  2. I'm almost ashamed to admit that I have never made it to Boston! I almost went there years ago but then we changed our travel plans and went to Baltimore instead. Coffee and cheesecake sounds like something I'd like to enjoy there. Thanks for the digital trip ;-)

I hope your week is off to a good start. I refuse to give into anything called the Monday blues. Well, I used to when I was studying but no longer. Every week means a fresh start (man, do I sound positive, haha)!

  5. Thanks for transporting us to the East Coast for a quick moment! I like how you describe Boston as having a European lifestyle, sounds very different to NYC. Must visit one day!

  10. I most definitely am feeling refreshed after this post, even though it's Tuesday :) I have a friend who just LOVES Boston, so I will send this post her way. Boston sure looks fabulous and I have yet to explore it myself... btw, did you happen to go by the Government Service Center downtown? I wrote a post about it once (http://www.hvhinteriors.com/2011/11/beware-use-interior-design-at-your-own.html) and since then have wanted to see it in real.

    Another great Place to Space!
