In Bed With Kinfolk

It's Tuesday, yes, but let me take you a few days back and highlight one amazing thing about weekends: late mornings, coffee in bed, and an excellent magazine to keep you company. Yes. I was in bed with Kinfolk magazine

The latest issue of Kinfolk magazine is a meticulous gathering of divine ideas to lose sight of megrim, listlessness or sullenness. With each page of this fine artwork your day gleams with joy - joy for the poignant words and the sublime photography. It is a collection of precious stories told in words and images. And it is the best way to start a new day inspired by ideas and motivated to embrace your life wholeheartedly. Blissful reading!

  12. Absolutely beautiful!

I found your blog because someone had linked to it when you wrote about the fantastic hotell on Mykonos! I am reading you every day since that and really enjoy it.

    Have a nice summer!

  13. Möp, meine Kinfolk Lieferung von Amazon hat der DHL zunichte gemacht und das Paket mit einer undefinierbaren Flüssigkeit getränkt. Hab mich so drauf gefreut.

  15. Dear Igor,

it's been a while since I wandered the Internets. I'm delighted to visit you today. From the wonderful dark grey bed linen, to the bowl of delicious blackberries, to the choice of magazine, to the immensely chic, happy & somehow unforgettable porcelain tray from "Asleep from Day" (has been on my list since some time now), to your pictures of all those and finally to your lovely description and narration of your day, this is such a delightful post.
You inspired me to proceed with a little project that has been thirsting for completion. Thank you so much!

Warm regards all the way to Munich and a handful of "filakia" to you from our "in constant and good but oh SO slow progress Pearl Birches House".

These are actually my fist pics with my new DSLR camera. I need to take lessons from you! One day I'd love to be half as good as you!! Filakia polla!!!

  16. Morning dear Igor :)

what a flattering thing to say, thank you so much (A little blush and smiles of appreciation) I'm sure you'll be in time 100% as good as you can be and this can be even more exciting than half my goodness ;)

Congratulations on your new camera! Trust yourself while learning, to find the kind of light that speaks of you and for you.

It seems like this summer I / we won't be visiting Munich, but when we come along each other's ways, we'll shoot around together, learning from each other ;)

    Have a lovely weekend ahead,
    xoxo
    Iro
