Happily Ever After: Swedish Perfection

Blame me. Booh me. Diss me. I can't help it - this week has been deeply influenced by my trip to Stockholm and yes, this Friday is not different. I am taking you once more to this nordic, highly design-conscious country. And folks, to be honest, wouldn't you be living happily ever after in this Swedish perfection?

The spacious rooms, the high windows with old-style handles letting in tons of natural light, the classic sliding doors, the wooden floors, the scattered design classic, the pops of colour against the dominating whites - what's to not like about it? And seriously, that balcony? Are you kidding me - I so need this kind of apartment. Then it's all done and settled. With the 'happily ever after' I mean. A big hug to all of you. Oh, and TGIF!

  2. I think it's easy to forget all the beauty when you live here, but you're right. There really are many beautiful places here in Sweden.

I fully can understand that you like Scandinavian design so much. So do I, and that´s why I just started writing a blog about nordic design.

  8. Yes dear, this Swedish perfection works just great for me.
No worries. Won't booh you. Nor blame you. I hear you mister Happy.
I love everything you point out & must say that these old style handles got me right from the beginning. Should we talk about the high ceilings & light?
what more is there to say? They are fabulous.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead + Kali anoiksi to you, too!

P.S: my renovation... master plan (hear, hear Des dear!) includes covering the current square and admittedly boring veranda tiles with wooden planks just like these ones.Should work out nice, as they are equally sized. The verandas I mean. Till then the winter garden does its job ;)

  10. Clearly we're all in good company, Igor! I love the look of this place as well. Just perusing through the photos has me sighing and I can feel my body relax. I think it's time to get rid of my red dining room walls. It has been for the last ten years, actually! ;)

Lovely way to send us off into the weekend! Glad you had fun in Sweden! :)
