5 Happy Inspirations: Urban Styling

Some of you might know by now that I am currently attending Justina Blakeney's fabulous interior styling e-course. As of tomorrow I will start sharing some 'before & after' pics of my home to give you an idea of what has been keeping me entertained over the past few days. Since interior styling is currently 'all over my place' I thought about curating a little visual list of beautiful finds for a happy urban home. You will notice that today's selection is rather muted when speaking of colour, rather clean, serene and in my eyes - pretty urban.

What do you think of this palette and selection? Any favorites?

Happily Ever After: Pleased To Meet

Now I am pleased to introduce you to 'Pleased To Meet'. And I hope you'll be please to meet them. Literally. 'Pleased To Meet' is a Berlin based paper goods design studio run by a creative German couple that met in New York many years ago. Since 2004 they spread happiness with their cute postcards, notebooks, posters, stationery, wrapping paper with whimsical designs and playful motives.

I got myself a notebook - as you can imagine, I opted for the Paris motive since my heart's bound to Paris (in more than one way). Even though I catch myself collecting notebooks that weirdly enough remain unused, I can't help but give in when I spot a beautifully designed new one. After all, I love to merely look at them. And sometimes I decide to offer them as presents to good friends.

Are you a fan of happy stationery? If so, make sure you check the website of 'Pleased To Meet' and like them on Facebook. Happy Friday!

Happily Ever After: Studio Meez

In today's 'Happily Ever After' post I'd like to present you a super cute Etsy shop with a small but fine selection of home goodies. I really love handmade, unique products because they are the best way to add something to your home that is not available in stores around the world. And Studio Meez is certainly a good source if you like something playful for your happy home.

I instantly fell in love with the soft apple cushions in grey, pale green and soft pink. They would be a great accessory for a nursery as well as for a grown-up scheme in grey on a bed or sofa. Well, plus it is supposed to be healthy. You know, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Even an apple cushion.

You can find all goodies on sale in the Etsy shop HERE and more inspiration on their blog HERE.

Happy Friday my friends!

Three Gift Wrapping Ideas

Yesterday I was blogging about Christmas gift ideas, today it's time to think of creative ways to wrap your holiday pressies. When I am looking for buzzing creativity and fabulous graphic design, I like to stop over at one of my favorite German blogs, Funkytime. Well, and I've found some amazingly cool Christmas gift wrapping ideas for you!

I love the quirky black and white Christmas tree and snowflakes wrapping paper with the surprising colour pops and the different ways of wrapping your happy presents. How about simple rectangular packages or you go for the fun cone-shaped pressie? Spice up your gift wrapping by adding colourful stickers or washi tape to highlight the details or tie your super cute cracker style presents with neon hued twine. My this year's wrapping preference is: black and white wrapping paper with colourful details and varying shapes! And the best: you can get the designs as shown above as free downloads here.

Which one is your favorite?

Happy gift wrapping!

Happily Ever After: Christmas Cards

'Tis the season to be jolly...isn't it? I am in a happy pre-Xmas frenzy, my friends. I did a good deal of gift shopping, I've decorated my shoe box aka apartment, I booked my ticket to Paris, had (more than one) mulled wine and ginger bread. Check, check, check. Next thingy on the list? Writing Christmas cards. I was looking around all evening to find some inspiration and I got hooked on Rifle Paper Co. They have such a beautiful assortment of stationery and I couldn't resist but share some of my favorite Christmas cards motives from their refined selection. Which one of these would you pick? I can't decide...
