Some people say there are coffee aficionados and there are tea lovers. But you know what, I am the one and the other. The only difference is in timings. My day has to start with a cup of freshly brewed, strong coffee. It is a sort of fuel for my body and mind. While working in the office I keep my brain running with coffee. The evenings, on the other hand, belong to the refined taste of tea. While blogging in the eve or watching a movie on DVD, I keep my senses focused with a cup of white or green tea.
Today, I am dedicating my post to the sumptuous dark brew with the invigorating scent - this is an ode to coffee! Here are five happy finds that would cheer up every cup of coffee:
1. Fun striped and dotted cups, saucers and bowls by the House of Fraser.
2. This yellow coffee machine brings double joy - coffee and a dash of sunshine!
3. Keep your brew hot - but do it with style! Opt for a Stelton thermos flask with a trendy spring colour.
4. This cool tea towel with geometric pattern is an ideal companion - and can be called coffee towel!
5. This happy coffee print will make you want to embrace your favorite cup and have a good sip.
Are you a coffee or a tea person? Or are you a 'swinging drinker' like myself?

I like tea usually, coffee only when doing overtime works.
ReplyDeleteBlack coffee first thing and then a tea in the afternoon! P.S. Love the yellow kMix machine; I have the matching toaster and kettle so perhaps it's time to complete the trio?!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually also considering it. It is just too cool:-)
DeleteI am definitely a coffee addict and I am also definitely in love with this pink/grey tea towel (and the coffee machine)! /maria x
Euxaristo gia tin symvouli! Tha to dokimaso otan eimai stin Ellada!
DeleteI'm a tea gal, but I still love the smell of coffee and all the stuff that comes with it - like the dotted cups above :) and the print? so cool!
ReplyDeleteI prefer freshly brewed coffee in the morning but I'm fine with tea or latte during the day.
ReplyDeleteLove the print!
I'm a coffee addict - I have to start the day with it. If it is cold and/or raining out I love a cup of tea during the day. In the summer I love a glass of iced tea. Occasionally I'll have tea in the evenings, but not often.
ReplyDeleteThose cups and saucers are darling!
Coffee all the way for Mr Walnut Grey (and if I do have tea, it'll be some herbal concoction in the evening). You probably already know that I'm a Nespresso fan, but you didn't show any of Mr Clooney's best ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm a swinger as well. Ooops, did I just say that? :-) My morning coffee made in a French press is indispensable. I go to a special coffee shop where they have all these different beans and grind it for you on request. I need that shot of caffeine to get started. After 3 mugs I turn to tea...all day long. Mostly herbal and loose leaf.
ReplyDeleteI'm an occasional "swinging drinker" (more into sparkling water and a sip of diet Coke), but the Stelton thermos is one of my all time favorites. This one has such a trendy bright spring color! Pas mal ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the smell of freshly roasted or brewed coffee! But I don't drink coffee at all, although I come from a family of coffee aficionados, my dad roasts his own coffee. Even as a tea drinker I can't say no to the Stelton thermos and the tea towel. I want one of each!
ReplyDeleteI am more of a tea person ... although I do occasionally crave for a cup of good coffee. The dotted cups are so much fun and so is the yellow coffee machine! Kenwood ... it's time for me to check you out!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a swinger like you, but generally I'm more passionate about coffee. We make coffee four ways at home - either with our Chemex, Aeropress or French press and for espresso, we use our La Pavoni. We did a lot of experimentation with different beans and grinders, and since a few months we have a very precise routine for making each of those coffee types. It's sort of ritualistic and we're very serious about it :) As for tea, I LOVE oolong tea. Can't get enough of it!
ReplyDeletegreat picks Igor!
Xx. Holly
DeleteI must confess I tried to give up coffee for lent last year without success...my love for the bean runs deep but in the evenings I too refine myself to a quiet cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteA coffee towel, I like that! I'm a coffee girl all the way. I'm even drinking a cup right now!
