Admittedly, I am 90 % of my life in a colour mood. I can't help it but fall for the happy feelings evoked by colourful accessories in a home. And anything that leads to happiness can't be wrong, right? Even though I know there are some monochromatic fellows out there I need to annoy you with my colour mood today. Probably it's an inner urge to prolong summer vibes just for a little bit longer before we had into more quiet, more mellow times with muted hues and lots of neutrals. So no matter what type of person you are: put on some inner colour. Let your mood be a bright one. Let happiness rule your Tuesday. Nothing can go wrong.

Well colour me happy, all these fun and bright hues make Mr. Bazaar sing with joy! :)
ReplyDeleteI especially like how those neon brights have been used in that rustic-industrial dining room - the juxtaposition of the glossy metal finish against the textured wooden tabletop works a treat. Happy Tuesday!!
Über so Frame Clusters darf man ja denken was man will, aber ich find sie immer noch toll. Hihihihi. Und in Kombination mit diesen Farben sieht es einfach äusserst chic aus.

So uplifting this post! Matches my mood today perfectly, even though I am pretty sure I am one of those monochrome people you were talking about, ha ha! But I love your idea of wearing inner colour. I never thought of it like that before. From now on, I will think about that everyday :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
I love your blog so much - I hope you don't mind but I have nominated it for A lovely Blog Award - the details can be seen here http://thenostalgiaexchange.wordpress.com/ Thank you for all your lovely posts
ReplyDeleteI think we could all use a little more color in our lives:)
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday!
I love colour.... it's probably not something anyone would think when first meeting me, seeing that two of my greatest loves are rugby and beer (looking around my home they'd probably think it's all my wife). But honestly, who wants live life surrounded by creams and browns? It's so dull.....
ReplyDeleteI appreciate such a stance from a male reader:-) Good to know there are guys out there who appreciate colours, too (apart from those I already know...). Thanks Mike!
DeleteNo problem Igor! Men who like colour may be few and far between, but we're definitely out there!
ReplyDeleteIf anything, I think that men who claim not to like colour, are probably more afraid to use it than anything else.
ReplyDeleteIt's much easier and 'safer' to stay with neutral colours, and I think that's one of the reasons why most men are drawn to these colours.
You know things are going to look okay when you use two or three neutral shades. When you bring real colour into the picture, that's when things get dangerous....
That's actually a very good point, Mike. And I agree with you on that. Sometimes colour can be scary. But people who feel intimidated by colours can start playing around with a cushion or just a throw, nothing expensive or lasting (like paint for the walls). And if it's too challenging, they can always call Happy Interior Blog to help ahaha
Deletehow much i love the colourful posts!!and we need more colours here in greece this year .. you make my day Igor!!
ReplyDeleteLove, love the dining shot Igor! Beautiful colours and shots in this post-love it all round! :-)
ReplyDeleteHello, Colourliving here... do I hear you speak about colour? My ears were burning:)) Here's to colour all year round and to all those lovely monochrome people we know and love!!!
ReplyDeletelove the colorful cords! and hey Igor, you are only doing pastels ... the neutral fans should still be ok with them!
ReplyDeleteI think I live in a color mood too - nothing like a pretty yellow pillow to brighten a mood, and a room. I'm going to try and let happiness rule my wednesday too!
