Happy Interior Blog Recommends...
January is a busy month and I am literally rushing from one design fair to another. After last week's trip to Copenhagen I will be off to the imm furniture show in Cologne and later to the Maison & Objet show in Paris. With all the shows usually you get a first grasp of what is trending this year when it comes to furniture design and home accessories.
There are of course some materials that we have already seen last year, but also new combinations and interpretations. My personal 'hot topics' for stylish homes are the colours blue and grey, wood, marble, brass, leather, inspiration from nature and indoor plants. Inspired by this observations here comes this week's board of product recommendations:
1. River wallpaper by Emma Hayes
2. & 3. Marble chopping board and Chemex coffee maker by Crate & Barrel
4. Organic bath oil by Ambre
5. R.I.G. table by MA/U Studio
Happy hump day, friends!

Merci Aurélia! Bonne journée à toi aussi!
DeleteLove the wallpaper!
ReplyDeleteDitto Jan! She also has a second design that is inspired by the sea. Worth checking out!
DeleteDer Tisch ist sehr toll, steht ab sofort auf der Wunschliste <3
ReplyDeleteGute Wahl, Bianca:-)
DeleteCool table & coffee maker :-)
ReplyDeleteOne observation... "blue and grey, wood, marble, brass, leather, inspiration from nature and indoor plants"... aren't these just mainstays in interiors? Are they really 'trends'? Or is it more to do with the way in which they are represented/used in products? I'm just wondering out loud.
Thanks Igor.
I think most of what we see for interiors are mainstays. It is just the level of frequency of certain colours or materials that are the basis of my observations here. You know, the things you seem to see more often on the various design shows around the continent:-)
DeleteOk, the bath oil bottle seriously looks like it's filled with olive oil! Would love to try it (on me, not in the salad ;) The table is to die for, as you know!
