Things look different on a sunny Saturday morning. After a good sleep, a healthy breakfast and the warming sun rays through the window, things have another aura. Everything seems to be more pleasing and more beautiful. And maybe that is the magic of weekends nowadays, too. With our 60-hours work weeks, with all the other duties of daily life we simply have no time to 'really' open our eyes and see the beauty in everything around us. And we forget that life is beautiful itself. And beware, my friends: Please, never forget to see the beauty in everything. Cause what is life then all about? So enjoy a happy weekend and cherish the beauty around you - life is beautiful!

Absolutely....I remind myself of this all the time so, I try to stop and take notice. Of all the little things....that make up our days & in the end are the most important things to me. That first cup of coffee, my daughters faces, petting my dog, laughing with my husband or friends. Snow, summer, a great night's sleep, a great book, a great movie....the list could go on and on. Thanks for the reminder. Hope you have a great weekend hun!

nothing like a bright, sunshiny saturday. the sky is blue and cloudless out my studio window this morning. the palm trees are shimmering slightly. it's good to live in palm springs!
ReplyDeleteYou're totally right about this. I think sometimes it's about taking the chances you get to slow down - like Ferris Bueller says "life moves pretty fast... if you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it!"
