With a busy full-time job and a high-flying blogger schedule, I hardly have time to enjoy a cup of coffee in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. But if I were able to enjoy all the nice things during the week, what would the weekend serve for?
One thing I love about weekends is having the luxury of time to enjoy a relaxed and laid-back coffee with friends, with my mum or all alone - at home or in a wonderful café. Like this one: the Market Lane Coffee in Melbourne, Australia. Ok, truth be told, Melbourne is maybe a tad too far away from Munich for a weekend trip, but if I were in Melbourne, I would probably go to the Market Lane Coffee to enjoy a cup of their hot brew and indulge in the aesthetic interior design - double bliss! Have a great weekend, friends!

I am totally with you on this, Igor! I love that about my weekends. I am so appreciative of my precious, slower-paced down time. Hope you find your serenity this weekend :)
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love visiting cafés that offer quality coffee, I also enjoy weekend mornings at home with coffee and baguette. We just enjoyed a morning like that, where we sit for almost hours at the table just talking and laughing.
ReplyDeleteHopefully I'll make it to Melbourne one day ;-)
I love relaxed mornings at home, too!!! Way too rare!! And yes, I want to get to Melbourne, too!!
DeleteHappy weekend!!! Im loading up on lattes as I type, lol.

Have just spent an afternoon walking in a lovely country village, drinking tea (not coffee - I am English after all!) and looking round an old fashioned bookshop. Bliss! Although it wasn't nearly as well styled as the cafe above!!

ReplyDeleteHi Igor,
ReplyDeleteI did a double take when reading your post as I'm from Melbourne and had a coffee here on Saturday morning with my family!!! and yes the coffee and atmosphere was really good. Hope you can make it to Melbourne one day you'd love this city.
Hi Catherine, thank you for visiting here:-) I am pretty sure I'd love Melbourne and Australia in general! It is on my travel wish list and I will make it one day! I am glad you had a nice weekend with your family! Cheers from Munich!!
DeleteSounds like the perfect weekend, Igor! You know how I love coffe:)
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend Igor! I too love to relax with a good tea or coffee at the weekend, amongst trips to London and if i'm lucky a bit further afield. Having a good coffee and a pastry in Rome or Paris is my ideal, although Ive never been to Munich, so if I go you'll have to show me the best coffee spots!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the gorgeous photography too!
Best Wishes

Sophie, if you ever come to Munich, make sure you let me know and I will gladly show you around:-)
DeleteJust catching up on my blog reading post-Paris - I adore the aesthetic of this coffee house. So industrial yet so cosy! Hope you had a fun weekend with your mum!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, a coffee post! :-D I love my weekend cups of coffee. It's especially nice to be able to have a second cup in the afternoon...which I am about to do, in my quiet home, with a blanket wrapped around me. I love weekends!
ReplyDeleteThere is really nothing better than a nice cup of coffee on the weekends! It's my favorite thing to do with my husband as we stroll down the streets with a cup in our hands and holding our baby's hands on the other. Pure bliss! Hope you had a great weekend too!
ReplyDeleteIt's really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Definitely Jeanne, Especially one of such high calibre like this coffee shop! It looks to be the kind of place you would go for lunch, and end up staying for ages!
