Here is a little funny story: About a year ago I spotted a fabulous magazine rack that I fell in love instantly. I ordered it HERE and a few days later it arrived here in Munich. Ever since it was tucked away in that spooky corner behind my closet where all those scary things like a vacuum cleaner are hidden. Reason? I have no drilling machine at home and I never got myself into the spirit of 'moving things' and getting it done. Until lately. I finally got someone to come to my place and mount the 'City Sunday' magazine rack on my wall above my dining table. Oh and I love it dearly now!
The great thing is it even looks fab when it's empty and then you can change and restyle its look every time again and again with your favorite magazines, books, postcards and more.
How do you like the magazine rack?
Happy Thursday, friends!

Yes I love it! Got the big one in my halway I love it as an additional decoration object as for the magazines ;)
ReplyDeleteAm completely in LOVE with it. Saw it on your Vine clip recently.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for including this link. Am definitely getting one. Now only dilemma is which colour.. CHOICES.... haha.
Am really glad you finally got it up. My neighbours have an electric drill so easy peasy for me:-)
It's even pretty when empty! I have a "boring" and old one for postcards, found at a flea market that we painted white. HEMA also has postcard racks, but not as pretty as this one ;o)
ReplyDeletelooks really nice ;) good idea!!
ReplyDeleteIch bin schockiert! Kein Bohrer im Haus! ;)
ReplyDeleteDas ist ein unhaltbarer Zustand, der dringend geändert werden muss!

I love this! I spotted it in a photograph a while ago and have been wanting one ever since. Time to get saving! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove this rack!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Igor, love the rack and love your little gif even more;)
ReplyDeleteHappy day sweet friend,
Axx
DeleteI love it! How could you have it away for 1 year?? :D
ReplyDeleteI have no idea:-))
DeleteThat's brilliant, I love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Vanessa!!
DeleteI love it, really - a great way to store and display at the same time. And believe me - your story about hiding it behind the closet could have been my story, too. It's incredible how fast a year can pass when you put off something. I'd even say: one year is nothing for a well trained procrastinator!
ReplyDeleteHahaha Lena, I love your comment! It made me laugh so much - and I can totally relate to your words, too!
Herzlichst, Julia
Hab ich gemacht Julia! Lieben Dank!!
DeleteAbsolutely had to stop by a leave a comment to say how lovely this is, and as. Mentioned on Twitter - I thinknI might get a yellow one, yay! The only thing that remains is whether to get the wall mounted one or the freestanding, as I'm completely useless with a drll too! :-) x ps sorry bot spelling - using iPhone!
ReplyDeleteGlad you finally got it put up, Igor! It looks fabulous, dahling! I am enjoying mine too.
ReplyDeleteNow you did it. I am in love. If I could only decide about the color...... Some covers look like art and should be displayed accordingly. And you reminded me about all those pictures lurking under my bed waiting to be framed and hung gallery style..... Very bad.
ReplyDeleteWie viele Zeitschriften kriegt man da unter? Normale dicke wie Wochenzeitschriften z.b.

Andrea
Hallo Andrea! Je nach Dicke der Magazine würde ich sagen zwischen 15-20 Zeitschriften.

DeleteDueltek may custom design any kind of AV & Information wall dishes in Sydney.
DeleteOur most widely used is the actual Clipsal 2000 Walls Plate, but we are able to custom design the following manufacturer plates: HPM, Legrand, Hager Blu & PDL. We are able to also have a simple bit of perspex and transform it into an expert finished AUDIO-VIDEO wall solar panel.

That is so COOL! Quite Art Deco, I like it!
