I've promised it for quite a while: a little home tour of my tiny rooftop apartment. Well, welcome to my home, friends! I am sharing a few snaps of my abode here and hope you gonna like it.
My flat is really small - I call 32 square meters my home so you can imagine that I am always challenged when it comes to new buys or rearranging my stuff. My living room and bedroom are adjacent and connected by a round arch. These are the main areas of my daily life whereas the more practical spaces like kitchen and bathroom are very tiny and rather utilitarian in the back of my flat. I have no particular style in my home, it is more like myself: a bit of this, a bit of that!
So, what do you think of it? Anything you like or dislike in particular? Anything you would change? Let me know!
Styling & photography by Will Taylor and Igor Josifovic
A bit of this, a bit of that, but so happy, colorful and so you! And I love that we share the "same" plant & planter (the glossy succulent one). Thanks for inviting us over, Igor!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for visiting me:-)
DeleteI live in a tiny apartment as well so I know how hard it is to decorate it! I always try to change things so it doesn't feel boring and small :) Yours looks amazing! I love your coffee table and all of the cushion :) Have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteM.
Euxaristo my friend!! Glad you like it:-)
DeleteOh Igor, how long have I waited for this?????
ReplyDeleteEven if it's small, it's perfectly you!! That's all that ever matters. Our homes are our castles and remember that many people are not as fortunate as us and have to share your sized apartment with parents and siblings.
I LOVE that everything is considered and stylish, from the cushions to your chucks to all the ceramics.
It's cosy and loveable like you my friend:))
Good team work, you blogging bros... nice job Will!!
oh igor I love your home!! I will have to come visit your place next time I'm in Munich! the place is so charming and happy ... just like you!! Love how you totally living large in the small space and how the neutral backdrops really allow the accent pieces and patterns to pop!
ReplyDeleteLove that black and white rug and how it helps ground the white box. that blue vignette, stitches on bedding, and the picture of you with your tongue out = LOVE!
What a lovely nest you've feathered igor, full of so many interesting details.x
ReplyDeleteIgor: Loved your home. Great photography. Things I liked: planters, planters and more planters, kantha spread, the cabinet and how you have not hung the art works on the walls.
ReplyDeleteWhat great ideas. So simple yet so beautiful! Nature's beauty is the best decoration, that's for sure! Happy Thanksgiving!! Karen
ReplyDeleteSimple but really nice, I love the cupboard with its drawers colored in different shades.
ReplyDeleteΥοur house seems to be so fun. Now I know why you've named your blog "Happy Interiors Blog"! :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't think the size of the flat matters when it has all these personal touches. From what you post on your happy blog, this looks very you ;-)
ReplyDeletePasst zu dir und sieht sehr süß aus, brauchst nichts zu ändern:-)
ReplyDeleteI love how detailed it is!! Congrats, good job! :)
ReplyDeleteWould you mind if I repost it ??? :)
Thank you Boriana & feel free to share it:-)
DeleteWhat a lovely colorful and happy home you have, Igor. I love it!

Love your table and drawers Igor. The more eclectic the better for me-I do love Scandinavian simplicity. But not everywhere. Like you say, the challenge of a small space makes you far more creative-well done you :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Igor!
ReplyDeleteI love your aesthetics and your apartment looks to me a cosy paradise.
I used to live in a tiny in Spain place too, and I had my style all over. My friends used to come and enjoy the place every time.
I think what you have is beauty and wabi sabi together.
Well done, keep enjoying the space because it has a lot of +Chi+

Beautiful Igor! Fantastically styled, extremely happy and perfectly you! Your home is a joy to behold!
ReplyDeleteVery bright and happy interior and I like the photos you took. There is nothing I could dislike, but I would love to own La Lune poster, that lovely black lamp, bed cover (or bed spread )looks like something I had in my mind to diy for a long time, but never did ;). Would love to know where is it from?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, allmost forgot, that carpet looks great.
Thank you so much for your kind words!! The bedspread is from Ikea and the La Lune poster is from Double Merrick. Hope this helps!!
DeleteReally pretty fine details and accessoires. Love!
ReplyDeleteI.
lots of lovely details!!!
ReplyDeletebut you should definetely change the means harmony pillow, I think it does not really fit :-). you should put in in front of your door (this typically Munich thing when people give away stuff they do not need anymore). I just need your address to pick it up ... because: I LIKE IT & WANT IT!!!!! :-) what brand is it? where did you get it?
have a nice friday, Katharina
Hehe good idea:-) actually, it was a cushion from the first H&M Home collection.
DeleteGanz toll wohnst du! Großes Kompliment! Liebe Grüße nach München, Julia
ReplyDeleteVielen Dank für das Kompliment! Ich werte das als Expertenmeinung;-)
DeleteIgor,
ReplyDeleteYour home really doesn't disappoint. It's beautiful! I love all the small details, the ceramics in particular along with the black lamp, the artwork you've chosen, the chevron rug, the kilim cushions, the spotty plant pot and the overall colour scheme. It's lovely, fresh and really shows you.
Gorgeous, look forward to more!

ReplyDeleteYour space is so cute, Igor! So many knick knacks, colors and fun patterns to look at! Wish I can visit you one day, :)
ReplyDeleteFeel very welcome, my dear!!!!
Deletehi Igor & I've been meaning to comment for days. I LOVE your flat! Your post inspired me to measure the barnloft I'm living in and I discovered that it's 63 meters - enormous by bit city standards. Things that caught my eye in yours: the bright yellow stripe on the picture frame & table top. Chuck Taylor's all cozied up on the zigzag rug by the sofa & cable knit throw. Pomegranates & the dusty pink in the zinnia & pillow. Definitely LOVE the floor lamp and all the blue in the bathroom. After I saw your books lined up on a white shelf I started arranging mine inside the kitchen cupboards because I don't have bookshelves [yet] thanks for all the inspiration!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad I could inspire you a little bit:-)
